Our travel Expedition in Mainland Yemen focuses on the region of Hadhramaut. This adventure will take you from Salalah, in Oman, through tiny fishing communities on the Arabian Sea coast to the beautiful port city of Mukkala with its Indian-influenced buildings and bustling markets. We will explore Wadi Doan, visit colorful palaces, and meet the beekeepers who produce the fabulous Yemeni honey. The journey continues to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Shibam for an in-depth visit, to the important Islamic city of Tarim, with its exquisite palaces and mosques, and the wonderful town of Seyoun. We travel east to Aynat and back to Oman via the vast Yemeni desert.

This exclusive travel Expedition will run from January 24th to 30th, starting and ending in Salalah, Oman.

You will be sharing this exclusive expedition with a maximum of five other guests. Our travel Expedition leader will also take part in it, guiding you through the journey and making sure you are comfortable, happy, and taking it all in.

Our expeditions include all Yemeni visa fees and bureaucracy costs, individual travel insurance, all ground transportation, and fuel, all accommodation* (including the first night in a five-star hotel in Salalah, Oman) in the highest category available, guide fees, police & military escort fees, all entry fees and experiences, all meals and snacks, amenities, curated souvenirs, and a professional photographer’s documentation of the expedition (usually the expedition leader).

The total price* for the trip is 4.290€ (Euros). A non-refundable deposit of 20% (858€) is required to secure your spot on our expedition. There is a 10% discount applicable to every accompanying guest of the first one traveling.

*Double occupancy rooms, per person sharing. If requested, a 450€ single supplement applies.

The Hadhramaut region of Yemen is currently safe for travel, especially with our security logistics in place for the expedition, comprising police & military escorts.

If the security or safety outlines are compromised due to any geopolitical, natural, or human factors, we will not hesitate to alter or cancel the expedition as per our Terms and Conditions.

International flights to Salalah, Oman, our meeting point, are to be organized by guests. Everything else will be included in the expedition price.
