Our travel Expedition in Iraq runs from Basra to Erbil. It will take you to the extraordinary heritage sites of Babylon, Ur, Uruk, and Samarra, the disappearing Iraqi Marshlands, and the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. We will be visiting Mosul to check out firsthand its rebirth and feast on wonderful food in Baghdad, as well as experiencing Yazidi rituals in Lalish, and wandering the bustling Kurdish city of Erbil. This is a wonderful adventure through the cradle of civilization, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and warm hospitality. Many other surprises and wonderful places will be included in this curated itinerary.

This travel Expedition to Iraq will run from April 20th to May 1st, starting in Basra, and ending in Erbil, in the Iraqi Kurdistan.

You will be sharing this fabulous expedition with a maximum of five other guests. Our Expedition leader will also take part in it, guiding you through the journey and making sure you are comfortable, happy, and taking it all in.

Our travel Expeditions include all visa fees and bureaucracy costs, individual travel insurance, all ground transportation and fuel, all accommodation* in the highest category available, guide fees, police & military escort fees (where applicable), all entry fees, and experiences, all meals and snacks, amenities, curated souvenirs, and a professional photographer’s documentation of the expedition (usually the expedition leader).

The total price* for the trip is 4.580€ (Euros). A non-refundable deposit of 20% (916€) is required to secure your spot on our expedition. There is a 10% discount applicable to every accompanying guest of the first one traveling.

*Double occupancy rooms, per person sharing. If requested, a 450€ single supplement applies.

Iraq is very safe for travel. It has had a steady and sturdy increase in stability over the recent years, and we guarantee a seamless experience for our Guests.

If the security or safety outlines are compromised due to any geopolitical, natural, or human factors, we will not hesitate to alter or cancel the expedition as per our Terms and Conditions.

International flights to Basra, our meeting point, and Erbil, our departure point, are to be organized by guests. Everything else will be included in the expedition price.
